Wordless Wednesday

Hi ya'll!

Sorry I haven't been around. I've been on vacation in Florida. I had a great time and I have a tan so I am happy LOL

Like all my Worldless Wednesday this one of course is full of words LOL! Last night we lived through history; We elected a bi-racial man to lead our country. As an American I am proud to have a elected a new President that can bring the change that we need. As a minority it brought tears to my eyes. I can now look into my nephew's face and tell him with 100% certainty that he lives in a country that he can be what ever and who ever he wants to be.

Yesterday, we made our voices loud, and we let our goverment know that we are tired of how things are in our nation. We stood in lines for hours in some case to make sure that we cast our votes. I myself waited and hour to cast my vote. And I am proud I did.

I have hope that Obama can help us rise again. So I invite ya'll to raise your glass of whatever you may be holding, coffee, tea, juice, water, whiskey LOL, and join me in a social for change. HERE'S FOR CHANGE!!! Yes we can!

Happy Birthday Macy!

Last night we celebrated our Princess birthday. We got her doggie birthday cookies, sang her happy birthday, & being the celebrity that she is; she possed for pictures.

Macy has been a great addition to our family. She has brought us joy, and tons of licks LOL! And as so, she is a spoiled puppy LOL!

Happy Birthday Girl!

Wordless Wednesday

Ok, so my Wordless Wednesdays are not really that wordless LOL!

I took this picture at the Central Park Zoo. I went with my nephew back in the begining of August. The kept playing and swimming, so I took a few pictures in the under water viewing. I hope you enjoy it!

Fun & Refreshing!

Hi all!

Well I am still playing around with the format of the blog & I finally decided color & style. Now I just have to do it LOL!

Todays picture I think it's a fun & refreshing one; it's a piragua (I hoped I spelled that correctly). A piragua is shaved iced with flavored syrup poured over it. The perfect treat for those 90 degree days. You can find this delicious treat all over the Island.

I took this picture on my last day of my Puerto Rico vacation, right by El Morro in San Juan. El Morro it's an old fort that used was designed to guard the entrance to San Juan bay, and defend the city from seaborne enemies. In 1983, the fort was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations and is part of San Juan National Historic Site. You can walk the entire castle, and now a days some people say that one of the corners of the famous Bermuda Triangle is El Morro.

See I just gave ya'll a little history lesson LOL! San Juan it's a gorgeous city filled with original art & history. I encourage everyone to visit it at least once in their life time.

Hope you enjoy it!

Hey guys,

Its time to re-design my Photo Blog! So everything will be a mess until I finish playing around with colors & graphics. And you know us girls we could never make up our minds over anything LOL!

Hope ya'll like my finished work.

Hi ya'll!

I know I haven't posted in a few months, it's just been a crazy summer for me. I won't bore you with a lot of the details, but I had the chance to spend the month of July in Puerto Rico. It was amazing to see my family & spend time with them. Miss you guys!

If you've never been to Puerto Rico, let me just say that it's a photographers dream. Like I am sure all tropical Islands are. The sunsets & history the small Island has it's truly mind blowing & I came back with over 500 pictures. Of course I did! LOL! So I want to share one of the many pictures I took there.

This picture was taken with my Nikon D40. Boqueron Beach, Puero Rico. July 2008.
